League Expansion

I think we are at a point that we should bring in some new blood into the league.  Last season we played at the minimum size allowed, 8 teams.  I think we should strive to double the size of the league.  A 16 team league would allow us to have two divisions so we would not have to play each other more than once in a season.  We could also have an expanded playoff, more chances to win the championship.  Also with more teams we can keep the league fees reasonable while doing some really cool things like weekly cash prizes and some other stuff I have seen other leagues do that we can talk about later.

The issue that expansion brings is getting new owners who are committed to play at a high level and enjoy the extra-curricular taunting and humiliation that we all so enjoy.

Put some thought into who you may want to join.  I have a few people who have shown interest and I will share them with you fellas for your input soon.  Put your brains to it, let me know your thoughts, comment and discuss!

So Here Is How This Works!

I have sent links to all of you giving you "permissions" on this site to do whatever you want.  You just go to the New Post button...type in what you want the post to be about, put in links, pics, what ever you want and then hit publish post.  It goes out onto the website.  Each post is the beginning of a discussion!  If you want to instead just comment on someone else's previous post, just click comment and go to town, same rules.  Easy Peasy!

Just like the chats in the fantasy rooms, but we can do other things as well, poll, discuss league issues, set up dates and times for events I.E. drafts, trade deadlines, etc.  Everything is in one place and we don't have to worry about what ESPN is doing or what the time of year is.  Please comment on what you think or hit me with any questions you have.

Ps.  There are a ton of other things you can do with this thing, but I don't want to overtax your little brains.

First, a tribute to our inaugural winner!

I thought it only fitting that the inaugural post on this league blogsite would be a small tribute to our inaugural winner of The Bullet Proof Tiger...Chris "Coop" Powers!  Coop took the Dirty Sizouth from the basement of the league in the first half of the season to a wildcard berth into the playoffs and eventual league championship.   As fellow owners we stand in awe of your accomplishment and know that you are the man to beat coming into season two of the quest!  Well done!
